How do cover limits work?

With the insurance documentation is a Schedule of Benefits that show the maximum amount payable under each section of the Insurance.  This limit applies to each person who is insured.  For example, if the Cancellation limit is £3,000, for an Employee with Family cover the policy will cover up to £3,000 per covered family member should they have to cancel the holiday for an insured and covered reason/event.  The sections may also have an excess which reflects the first amount you will have to pay in the event of a claim.  This also applies to each person.
